Klopp: Salah's goal in Manchester United has been "planned" since 2018

Alison was the first to congratulate Salah after the decisive goal

German coach Juergen Klopp revealed the "tight plan" that led Mohamed Salah to score his first goal in his career against Manchester United, on Sunday, thanks to a pass from the goalkeeper, which was not "by chance".

While confronting Manchester United and Liverpool uttered their last breath, Brazilian goalkeeper Alison Baker passed a long pass to Salah, to put him facing the goal, before the latter resolved the meeting, and scored the second goal for Liverpool.

While the fans thought that Alison's "magical" pass was an intuitive pace from the goalkeeper who took advantage of an exceptional situation, the team coach, Klopp, revealed that the entire matter was planned before.

Klopp said: "Alison and Mo (Salah) have always wanted to implement this game, which is the pass from the goalkeeper to the striker to create a stand alone, but we did not have this opportunity in the past, because the opponent is usually in a cautious defense."

He added: "Alison and Salah have been in harmony with each other for a long time, going back to before their time in Liverpool, where the two played together in the Italian Roma team as well."

He continued: "Salah was on the edge of the Liverpool penalty area when he played Manchester United's corner, so he was the first to notice that the opponent's player would be offside, so he immediately went towards the opponent's goal, waiting for Alison's pass."

After the referee counted a state of infiltration in the last moments, Alison quickly passed a long ball to Salah, the only one in the opponent's area, to take advantage of the latter and score his first goal in his career against Manchester United.

After scoring the goal, Alison ran along the pitch, running to congratulate his Egyptian teammate on the "plan's success", in a clip spread on social media that many described as "Alison's crazy celebration."

Klopp confirmed that Salah and Alison wanted to implement this game, since the first day the Brazilian goalkeeper arrived in Liverpool in 2018.

The two stars played for Roma in Italy 2016-2017 season together, before Salah moved to Liverpool, before Alison joined him there in the summer of 2018.
