During a press conference at the Palace of Hospitality in Carthage, Fakhfakh said that he is heading towards "focusing on a political line consistent with the election results, biased to the values of the revolution, listening to people's expectations, and raising hope among young people, away from sterile bids."
He stressed that he will not involve the parties of the Heart of Tunisia and the Free Constitutional in the consultations to form the next government, because they are "not in the path of people's expectations during this stage, especially after the 2019 elections, especially the presidential elections."
He added that "the approved work methodology will focus on working with the partners that were produced by the elections, on an integrated governance program for change and reform and agreeing on the tools for its implementation," according to Tunisian News Agency.
He pointed out that he "started building the political belt of the next government on the basis of the parties that met to vote for the values embodied by Qais Saeed in the second round of the presidential elections, based on the ideas of the revolution presented by Saeed," as he put it.
