Egypt .. the trade balance deficit drops 32 percent

The Egyptian Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics announced on Monday that the trade balance deficit fell 32.2 percent year on year to 3.22 billion dollars in October.


The Statistics Authority said in a statement that exports fell 4.4 percent to 2.39 billion dollars in October, while the value of imports declined 22.6 percent to 5.61 billion dollars.

According to the Statistics Authority in Egypt, imports of petroleum products decreased 23.5 percent, and raw materials of iron and steel fell by 36.4 percent.
